A non-directional polish creates a distinctive lustre finish that will maintain its appearance for the life of the spa. There are no colour dyes used in the material which means there will be no dulling or fading over time and with Bradford’s unique addition of glazed ceramic tile, you have a combination of materials that are as good looking as they are long lasting.

Stainless Steel won't crack, blister or delaminate as other spa and pool materials can. Unlike concrete or gunite, Stainless Steel has a non-porous surface so it can’t absorb any stains or odours. It will never require painting or resurfacing and when maintained properly is virtually indestructible.

Further to this, the choice of Stainless Steel as construction material results in a vessel weighing only a fraction of a similar concrete pool.  Our vessels can be constructed in an area of tight access, or brought in prefabricated in part or whole avoiding lengthy delays to other construction activities, which must be accounted for with concrete vessels. These facts along with the leakproof guarantee from elastic Stainless Steel, has tremendous value especially for elevated installations or retrofits of existing buildings.

CERAMIC TILE INLAY

As far back as the Roman Empire, ceramic tiles have been used to produce a multitude of beautiful designs and awe-inspiring mosaics. With the advent of new technologies, Bradford has in recent years added Ceramic tiles to its Stainless Steel shells. The colours, elegance and artistic style of ceramic tiles offer the user, a wide variety of design option and applications. Our unique combination of ceramic tile and Stainless Steel provides a durable and long lasting decorative finish-reflecting the individual tastes and style of our customers.

Our standard tile trim application for a spa includes tiling the top lip, water line, steps and the entire floor. If requested, a non-slip tile, with a greater than .06 coefficiency of friction rating can be used where requested within the spa. Tiles are inlaid flush with the surrounding surface of the vessel so that there is a smooth transition from tile to Stainless Steel.

Next we use a special waterproof epoxy based adhesive and grout primarily developed for adhering tiles to Stainless Steel. This proprietary method of fixing the tile is guaranteed for 5 years.
